About this antenna

The upper-band twin of the TQJ-3800-4000-9: the same fibreglass collinear, cut for 4.0–4.2 GHz and slightly shorter at 600 mm. Ofcom shared access licences are issued for specific channels, so the right omni is the one whose band contains your licensed carrier.

As with any omni, it suits a radio that sits in the middle of the area it serves. Where the coverage area lies to one side, a sector puts the same power where it is needed.

Where it fits

  • The top of a short pole on a gable end, a barn roof or a clubhouse, clear of the roofline.
  • Sites where the radio sits in the middle of the coverage area.
  • Shared access licences in 4.0–4.2 GHz. For 3.8–4.0 GHz choose the TQJ-3800-4000-9.

Radiation pattern

The manufacturer has not supplied a measured pattern for this model. As a vertical collinear it is omnidirectional in the horizontal plane (360°), with a narrow 8° ± 1° vertical beam, so most of the energy goes out towards the horizon rather than down at the ground close to the pole. If you need a pattern file for planning, ask us and we will request one.
