Rural Networks

Bringing proper broadband to communities left behind

Private 5G network installation in a rural UK valley

Rural communities across the UK are stuck with unreliable, slow broadband. Traditional providers won't invest in areas with low population density. We will. Our private 5G networks bring genuine high-speed connectivity to places that have been waiting years for an upgrade.

Process

How It Works

Community-First Deployment

We work with local communities to understand their needs and deploy networks that serve everyone, not just the most profitable customers.

No Line-of-Sight Required

5G technology works through hills, trees, and buildings that would block traditional fixed wireless connections.

Fully Managed Network

We design, build, and operate the entire network. You don't need to become a telecoms expert.

Scalable Coverage

Start with a core area and expand coverage as demand grows. No massive upfront infrastructure commitment.

Benefits

What You Get

  • Speeds from 100Mbps to 1Gbps
  • Unlimited data, no throttling
  • Professional installation included
  • UK-based support team
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

Common questions

What speeds can rural communities expect?

Most properties on an Aerix rural network see 100–300 Mbps down with low latency. Some sites achieve closer to 1 Gbps depending on radio placement and backhaul. By way of comparison, our Llanthony Valley customers went from 2 Mbps unreliable ADSL to consistent 100 Mbps+.

How is it different from Starlink or 4G mobile broadband?

Starlink works but has variable speeds, weather-related dropouts, latency that suits browsing better than gaming or video calls, and US-based support. 4G is a single-link share with everyone else on the local mast. Aerix is a dedicated local network: predictable speed, low latency, UK-based support, no per-property satellite kit on every roof.

How long does install take?

For a property within an existing Aerix coverage area, install is usually a one- to two-hour visit, with the connection live the same day. Bringing a new community online — site survey, radio installation, backhaul — typically takes four to eight weeks from agreement to first customers.

Can the network grow as more residents sign up?

Yes — that is how most Aerix rural deployments work. We start with a core area and add capacity (more radios, more backhaul) as demand grows. Adding a new household to an existing network is just a router install.

What if my area is too remote even for fibre?

That is the situation Aerix specifically targets. Where fibre will not reach in any reasonable timescale, we use microwave or satellite backhaul to bring connectivity to the community, then a local 5G radio distributes it. Get in touch with your postcode and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you.
