Aerix

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Introduction

Aerix ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our website and services.

2. Data We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name and email address (when you contact us or place an order)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
  • Address and location details (for service delivery)
  • Usage data and analytics (how you use our website)

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain our services
  • To process orders and payments
  • To communicate with you about your account or enquiries
  • To improve our website and services
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers necessary to deliver our services (e.g., Stripe for payments, Resend for email) and, if you accept cookies, with Google and LinkedIn for the purposes described in section 5. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.

5. Cookies

We only set non-essential cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page.

Strictly necessary (always on)

  • aerix_consent: remembers your cookie choice, for six months.
  • Sign-in cookies, set only if you log in to an Aerix account, to keep you signed in.

Analytics and advertising (only if you accept)

  • Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): tells us which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs without cookies and receives only anonymous, aggregate signals.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag: measures whether our LinkedIn adverts lead to visits and enquiries, and lets us show adverts on LinkedIn to people who have visited this site. LinkedIn sets cookies on aerix.uk and linkedin.com, including li_fat_id, which holds the identifier of an advert you clicked for up to 30 days.
  • Visit source (aerix_attribution, in your browser's session storage, cleared when you close the tab): the page you arrived on and the advert or link that brought you, so that if you send us an enquiry we know which of our articles or campaigns led to it.

We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or collect personal data, to count visits to the site.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Data portability
