About this antenna

A compact box, about the size of a hardback book, with four ports: two columns, each cross-polarised at ±45°. It is built for 4T4R small cells, and it is small and light enough (1 kg) to go on a lamp post, a CCTV column or the wall of a building without a planning conversation about visual impact.

Its 33° vertical beam is much wider than the 8° of the long panels, which is the right choice for a low mounting height: users close to the pole, and below it, stay inside the beam. The measurements show 11.1 to 12.6 dBi across all four ports and the band, with a horizontal beamwidth of 56° to 66°.

Where it fits

  • Lamp posts, CCTV columns and building walls at 3 to 8 metres.
  • 4T4R small cells, or two 2T2R radios sharing one antenna.
  • Streets, yards and quaysides where the users are close to the pole.

Manufacturer range measurements, October 2023 (Planet MSI files), port 1 (+45°) at 4.0 GHz. Boresight is at the top of each plot and angles are measured from it. Rings are at 0, −10, −20 and −30 dB relative to the peak; the dashed ring marks −3 dB, where beamwidth is measured. The faint traces are the other measured frequencies. Beamwidths and front-to-back ratio are worked out from the measurement data.
